The Reception

"did you get the message on my t-shirt?"... x

I saw the name on the back of her T-shirt so I began to follow her up the hill. As I was following her, someone must have hit the rewind button because I started going backwards really fast, back down the hill.

I screamed, "Stop!" And suddenly, I stopped. I then began running back up the hill towards the gate. By the time I got there, she was long gone. I knew that I had to get inside in order to find her.

As soon as I entered the gate, the power was so intense that I felt paralyzed and couldn't walk. My legs gave out on me and I fell down on my hands and knees, in the middle of the street.

It was then that my Guardian angel Tobias (Jesse Presley), and his twin brother Francis (Elvis Presley), came and picked me up. One of them were on each side of me, holding me up. Tobias said, "Remove your sandals." I slipped off my heels and my white frilly socks.

"Take your sandals off your feet,
for the place where you stand is holy ground"

My legs began to straighten up and I resumed the strength back in my legs. I then asked them if they would help me find the woman with the long brown hair, wearing the white T-shirt. They said they couldn't help me because they had to get to the reception. I asked, "What reception?" But they had vanished.

I started walking around and everything was so bright and full of amazing colors. The scenery was out of this world. I also noticed that it was really busy. People weren't just sitting around on the clouds, playing a harp. haha

I wanted to take pictures but I knew I wouldn't be there long. I needed to hurry up and find this woman.

I saw several people crossing an intersection, so I thought this must be where the reception is being held? I tried to get across to the other side but some man was blocking me. I tried to go around him but whichever way I turned, he was there.

He finally said, "What are you looking for?" I said, "I'm trying to get to the reception." That's when he flashed a light that looked like a neon green sword and screamed, "Go, go, go."

I started running as fast as I could, across the intersection.

"He makes everything beautiful in its time." ~King Solomon

When I got to the other side, I saw a gate that led to a pathway into a garden. I could see guards with glowing swords in front of the gate, near the pathway. They were fighting off people that were trying to get inside.

I wasn't sure if they would let me in but I started walking towards the path. That's when some of the people outside of the gate saw me. They started screaming and shooting at me, with what appeared to be oversized syringes?!

One of the guards yelled, "Get behind me or they'll shoot you." As I was running, I saw blood dripping from my hand. I must have been cut by one of the syringes without realizing it.

I finally reached the guard and hid behind him. As soon as I touched his back, the blood dried up on my hand and my wound healed.

Once I was closer, I could see the people that were trying to get in the gate. But they weren't actually people, they were some type of creatures or demons. I was so scared that I couldn't bare to look, so I closed my eyes.

A few minutes later all the chaos stopped and the guard said I was safe to go. I asked him where the reception was being held and he said, "Walk through the garden."

I headed down a long pathway and was mesmerized by how large the flowers were. The scent was so strong and the garden was enormous. I didn't know which way to go? I started to feel disoriented, so I stopped for a moment to rest.

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick...

A few minutes had passed, when a baby lamb ran up to me. The lamb seemed excited and had a high pitched voice that sounded like it was yelling at me. I knew the lamb was trying to tell me something but I couldn't understand lamb talk.  baaaaa!

I thought that maybe the lamb wanted me to hurry up and get to the reception, so I asked, "Which way should I go?" The lamb started running towards the right side of the garden and I followed.

I finally made it to the reception. As I approached the door, I noticed that they had these gold water pots filled with petals on the ground. There were scarlet and gold benches in front of the water pots. So, I sat down and placed my feet inside the golden pot.

Water began to pour down upon my feet, along with a light bluish colored soap. A lady came over and knelt down to dry off my feet with some type of white feathered towel.

She then held up some jewels in her hand and asked me which one I wanted to wear on my foot? They were absolutely beautiful diamonds and colorful jewels. She had different shapes and colors, with flowers, animals and butterflies. Of course, I chose the butterflies.  ;)

She placed the jewels on my right foot and hooked it, around my ankle. I thanked her for the jewels, stood up and started walking into the reception.

...but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life."

As I entered the reception, it almost felt like I was walking through water. I could sense GLORY all around me. I felt like I wasn't Holy enough to even be there.

I kept walking and noticed candles along the table with name settings. There were so many names that I thought it would be impossible to find mine.

I then heard Francis scream my name, so I started walking towards him. He said, "You made it... sit here, darling!" There was an empty white seat in between us.

As soon as I sat down, I was startled by a loud voice that said, "BEHOLD." I looked at my name setting on the table and my mouth dropped... I couldn't believe it! I then looked over at Francis in shock. He just winked and smiled at me.

The music began to play and I can't even begin to describe the sound that I heard. I was in such awe that all I could do was look around in astonishment.

People started bringing in wine and bread. I kept seeing loaves and loaves of bread, being brought in and it smelled delicious. I was in such a state of amazement that I almost forgot, why I was there.

Shortly after, I saw three women walking in with more bread baskets. I instantly knew that the woman in the middle was the woman that I was looking for.

I got up out of my seat and ran over to her. I said, "It is an honor to meet you, may I please see what the front of your T-shirt says?" She put her head down, so I couldn't see her face and handed the woman on her right side, the basket of bread.

She then turned to leave but I grabbed her by the arm and begged, "Pleeease, let me read your shirt." She said, "You can't read it, because it isn't time... yet."

I pulled on her T-shirt to straighten it out, so I could read it. But there was so much writing on it that I wasn't able to grasp it. I tried my hardest to piece it together, but nothing was sinking in. She was right, I couldn't read it. I finally gave up trying.

I then asked her, "How will he ever know, it's me?"

And she said, "Because your face will glow."

"In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths"

After I awoke from this dream, I asked God to replay the dream for me. I wanted to go back into my dream and see if I could read the T-shirt?

Sometimes, I wish that we had a video recording device that we could hook up to our dreams and tape record them. That way we could replay our dreams, over and over. Or a website like www.heaven.jc that we could log into and be able to research our dreams. haha

But, one thing that I have learned about faith and being a dreamer is...

Our dreams are like pieces to a puzzle and sometimes we only get one piece, at a time. The hardest part is waiting for the next piece.

King Solomon said, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Our visions and dreams are like a word of hope.

Hope is the essence, which links faith and love together. We need hope in order to believe. And we need to believe in order to reach our destiny.

As I was pondering this dream, I found it interesting that the definition of the word reception means... the act of receiving.  It is up to us to receive the word and act or believe that it IS.

I also remembered the story about Jacob. Jacob had wrestled with God and wouldn't let the angel go, until the angel blessed him.

This is exactly how I felt, I was wrestling with the angel in my dream. But, I was also wrestling with God, after I was given the dream. I was so consumed with getting all the answers that I missed the blessing.

You SEE, I didn't have to have all of the answers. I didn't need to understand the message on the T-shirt or know everything. And I didn't need to try and figure out how God was going to work all of it out.

God doesn't have to give us all the details. He only needs to give us a word.

I received the word and the answer that I had been searching for, the moment I sat down at the reception table.

The BLESSING... was right in front of me.

BEHOLD

but if you try sometime,
you just might find,
you get what you need."

Lost Love Letters

"i know that i ignored you but i recorded everything you said"... x

It was several months ago late in the evening when x and I returned home to his place. I went to take a shower and he went into the living room to unwind. As I got out of the shower, I walked into the living room. I could see the reflection of his face from the fireplace that was burning. He looked exhausted. I walked over to the couch and sat down next to him. I pulled the towel off of my head and asked him if he wanted something to eat? He didn't answer me, so I just sat back and stared at the fire.

A few minutes later he said, "get before me." I got up off of the couch and knelt down on the floor in front of him. He pulled out an envelope from the bag that was next to him. He opened up a letter that contained a photograph inside. The picture was a High School photo, from the Class of 1953. He pointed to one of the men in the photo and asked me, "do you recognize him?"

I looked at the picture but I didn't know who he was? He said the young man resembled my father (which I agreed), but it obviously wasn't my dad. It wasn't until x began reading the letter, sent from an old friend, of the man in the photo that I finally realized who the man in the picture was.

"Where the word of a king is, there is power." ~King Solomon

The man who sent the letter, thanked x for sharing his gift of music. And he also wanted to share a few things about his late friend, pictured in the photo. He told x about the good times, the bad times and the sad times, within this letter. He also shared the qualities and characteristics of this man and the similarities, he recognized in x.

One thing he said that struck me deeply was, "It's not only about what we do with our love and our gift, while we're here on this earth... but the impact that our love and gift will have on millions of people, long after we're in Heaven."

As x continued reading the letter, he got choked up and paused for a moment. Once he continued reading, I began to cry...

The man explained how his friend often times felt lonely, even though millions of people admired him and loved him. He wanted to give x hope through the words of his old friend. And he shared a letter from him and his friends favorite Bible verse, found in 1 Corinthians 13:1 or "The Love Chapter," as I call it.  ;)

He also wanted to give x a gift, like his friend would often do for others. The gift was a 1962 Ford Thunderbird.

He ended the letter with this, "Though I speak with tongues of men and angels, but have not love...  I am nothing." We were both in tears after reading his letter.

I stood up to go get us some tissue and by that time x was hungry. He wanted something quick and light to eat, so I went to the kitchen and grabbed us a bowl of Cap'n Crunch.

As I walked back into the living room, I noticed that he had poured out all of the letters from his bag onto the floor. There were letters everywhere, from all around the world.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue" ~King Solomon

We stayed up the rest of the night and into the early morning, reading the letters. Some people shared pictures of their kids and families. And many people shared how x's music had changed their lives. Some letters made us laugh, some made us cry, some were filled with love, and some filled with hate. I couldn't help but notice how his countenance would change, when he would read a hateful letter. It hurt me so much to see him get upset or hurt over what someone said. It was like one hate letter would cancel out 100's of love letters.

It's amazing how powerful our words are and how they can affect someone, we don't even know. We have the power to speak LIFE or DEATH into someone's life and into our own life, by what we say. We can lift someone up or tear them down. Our words create motion. They can encourage and inspire someone to create or they can cause someone to lose hope and give up.

After x had read several letters, I felt so much compassion for the people that sent them. I also felt honored, that he shared them with me. I loved hearing all of their stories and how so many of them felt connected to x, through his music. Like I have said before... "Songs are like SECRET love letters to our soul."

These people were giving back to x because he gave to them, through his music. They just wanted to reach him, share with him, and touch him. I thought, that they must be wondering if their letters were lost in the mail, if he ever received them, and/or hoping for a response from him?!

But how could one person respond to all of these letters? If he responded to some and not to others, it wouldn't be fair. And if there was no response, they would think that he didn't care.

I wanted to reach out to every single one of them and give them a sense of peace by letting them know... that he is reading the letters, he does care, he is thankful, and he does appreciate them; very much. You ARE reaching him and he IS touched by your words.

After x had finished reading 100's of love letters, he asked me, "do you honestly believe, that you could love someone that you've never even met?" I said, "Well, I wouldn't love Jesus... if I didn't."

Stunned by my response, he looked at me for a moment with a smirk on his face. He then leaned over and whispered softly in my ear... "dove~love?" And I said, "Yes!"

"through your hands, the lyrics were downloaded from heaven"... x

Before I fell asleep, I prayed for all of the people who sent him the letters. I then began to think that sometimes our prayers feel like Lost Love Letters to Heaven. We often wonder if God hears our prayers and if He'll ever answer them? We want comfort and peace knowing that He is listening to us but we also want a response back from Heaven.

What most people don't realize is that God IS not only answering our Love Letters but He's sending us letters, too. He speaks to us in many different ways, through His word (a.k.a. His love letters to us in the Bible), through other people, through music, and through our DREAMS. But most people throw these love letters out like they are junk mail. Never opening them up, reading them, or ever responding to them.

You SEE... our love, our prayers, our letters and our dreams, are never really lost. But it is up to us to decide whether or not we are willing to give them and receive them.

I'll leave you with this story...

Elvis Presley wrote a Love Letter to God on a notepad from his Hilton Hotel suite in Las Vegas, on December 7, 1976.  It was his last performance in Las Vegas and just months prior to his death. He then crumpled up the letter and threw it in the trash. The next day, the maid found the letter and took it out of the trash.

A Love Letter to Heaven that might have been lost forever...

But it was retrieved and turned into a BEAUTIFUL song by Elvis' friend, Wayne Newton.

Wayne Newton ~ The Elvis Letter

"I feel so alone sometimes
the night is quiet for me
I would love to be able to sleep
I'm glad everyone is gone now
I will probably not rest tonight
I have no need for all of this
Help me Lord."

O Tel Aviv

From the hills of Tel Aviv
You can see the winding roads of the Holy City
Along the Mediterranean Sea
There is so much beauty in the scenery

The place where mysteries unfold
And the secrets of old are told
It's the closest to Heaven on Earth
You could ever be

The view is astonishing
The ocean breeze is therapeutic
A pure sense of serenity
And calmness in the air

In the city they call 'White'
It is quite exquisite
The weather is warm and soothing
And the wind feels like silk

The taste of Tel Aviv
Must be what 'Manna from Heaven,' tastes like
From the fresh bread and produce,
To the scent of the spices along the busy streets

A cafe's paradise
Amongst the sensuous sea
I thought I would grab a tea
Until someone gave me lemonade with mint leaves

A refreshing almost blissful drink
I walked along and admired the flowers in bloom
I could hear the laughter of the youth
So alive and full of life

I then went to the market place looking for a prayer Shawl
There is so much significance and sacredness
From the cloth, to the tassels,
Handmade in its artistic beauty

As I was shopping, I noticed the amazing jewelry
A few seconds later, a woman approached me...
She began sharing a story about the necklaces
Which were in the Hebrew alphabet

She said, "The couples wear the initial of their spouse
around their neck, close to their heart,
Never to depart.  Like we would wear a ring."
I picked up one of the necklaces, that resembled the letter 'X' in English

Then I asked her, if they wore the initial of the first or last name?
She said, "The first name... you're holding the letter 'A' in your hand."
I turned around to ask her a few more questions
but she had vanished before my eyes

I continued shopping, as the words of King Solomon recited in my mind
"Bind them continually around your heart, tie them around your neck."
I then came across an ancient looking treasure chest
With an inscription written on the outside

I opened it up and noticed a PRECIOUS stone inside
A beautiful greenish/blue stone that was supremely vibrant
It is known as the Eilat Stone or King Solomon's stone
Found in King Solomon's mines

As I held it in my hand, I could feel the temperature in my body change
It is said to be a HEALING stone for your broken heart
It heals all the pain, hurt, stress, fear, and loss you feel
It harmonizes your heart, mind, body and also promotes creativity

I felt a sense of peace inside, as I held onto this stone
It was then that a man walked up to me
And handed me a note that read...
"This is what the inscription says, on the outside of the treasure chest"...

I smiled and thanked him for the note
It was the famous words of King Solomon
Taken from the most beautiful love song ever written
'The Song of Songs.'

O Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv
Listen to the sounds in the street

As night fell upon the city
I could hear the musicians play
I went and listened to the prophetic sounds
And something so divine began to transpire

I could feel the presence of The King of Kings
All around and inside of me
I was in Awe and then my awe turned to shock
As I thought to myself, "How is this happening?"

The singer was singing in Hebrew but I could hear it in English
I had never experienced anything like this before
My spirit was actually translating his poetic voice
My eyes filled up with tears and chills went up and down my spine

His music, his eyes and his voice
Captured the voices of the Prophets of old
As the band paused for a moment,
He spoke these beautiful words...

"In your dreams
you can travel to distant places,
your spirit is there.
Music is the Essence, The Roots,
Ancient Voices, Mystery, Holiness.
There are no better songs or moving songs,
than The Psalms or The Song of Songs"

He then proceeded to play the song he wrote 'Mimaamakim,'
based on the words of King David in Psalm 130.

As I bowed my head and began to pray...

"Thank you Lord for Israeli
I Praise and Honor thee
I hope to one day be able to visit
The Holy Land and Tel Aviv
But I am so thankful,

My Spirit was sent
if only for one night...
in my dream."

O Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv
Listen to the sounds in the street

It is a gift from Heaven above
A MIRACLE taking place through music
The sound of LOVE, Devotion and Unity
It shall bring...

O Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv
Listen to the sounds in the street

Mimaamakim ~ Out of the Depth
From deep depths I called to you to come to me
with your return the light in my eyes will come back
it's not finished,
I am not leaving the touch of your hands
that it may come and light up and wake upon
hearing the sound of your laugh.
From deep depths I called to you to come to me
the moonlight I will again light your way to me
they're spread out and melted again
the touch of your hands
I whisper, ask in your ears:
Who is it that calls to you tonight - listen
who sings loudly to you - to your window
who put his soul so you'd be happy
who will put his hand and build you your home
who will give his life, put it underneath you
who will be like dust living at your feet
who will love you of all your lovers
who will save you from all evil spirits
from the deep depths.
From deep depths I called to you to come to me
the moonlight I will again light your way to me
they're spread out and melted again
the touch of your hands
I whisper, ask in your ears:
Who is it that calls to you tonight

Too far gone

"Memories of you surround me...

Down by the riverbed
Where we first met
I left my silver ring
And you left your cigarettes

Wearing that famous Stetson hat
And I was in a white sundress
You were my cowboy
And I was your princess

Twenty three years ago
Under the Texas sky
We shared our dreams
That warm summer in July

A violin and a steel guitar
The music is the key
The sound of breaking hearts
I write for you and you sing for me

Don't look back
Just keep moving on
And I'll sing you this song
There's nothing left
It's too far gone

Too far gone

Not a star left to wish upon
Nothing more to say
Let my memory fade
Look the other way

I got up off my knees
Wiped the clouds from my eyes
O my soul, O my soul
Still holding on to our demise

Don't look back
Just keep moving on
And I'll sing you this song
There's nothing left
It's too far gone

Too far gone

Lift my hands to the Heavens
Sometimes letting go is divine
Whiskey makes you weak
Don't listen or you'll misread the sign

There's a time and a season
But honey we know to well
Our bridge has overflown
It's our love's last farewell

Don't look back
Just keep moving on
And I'll sing you this song
There's nothing left
It's too far gone

Too far gone

My wings are tarnished
And it's hard for me to fly
As my tears fall upon your boots
Tip your hat and say goodbye

Don't look back
Just keep moving on
And I'll sing you this song
There's nothing left
It's too far gone

Too far gone

Baby, I held on
I held on
For much too long

...and I'm afraid the tears might drown me"

Gary Allan ~ Bourbon Borderline

I wake up in the morning full of dread
Tryin' to remember what I said
I say that I won't call you
And I mean it every time
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

I wish that I could tell you why I call
Sometimes it's just hard for me, that's all
I know that it's over and it's just a waste of time
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

Memories of you surround me
And I'm afraid the tears might drown me
Oh, I think I'm doing fine
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

It's good that I just do this now and then
You know I'm really not a drinkin' man
But I can't bare to talk about us any other time
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

Memories of you surround me
And I'm afraid the tears might drown me
Oh, I think I'm doing fine
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

Oh, I think I'm doing fine
Until I cross that bourbon borderline

The Stairway

"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold"... Led Zeppelin

It was several years ago that I received an invitation to the Spring banquet being held at the Palace. I was honored that I was invited and excited to attend. I arrived just as the sun was setting that Saturday afternoon. As I pulled up to the gate, the guard stopped me, "Identify yourself," he said. I gave him my name and he responded, "I can't allow you in without the password." I thought to myself... What password, no one gave me a password? I glanced at the hood of my car and said the first thing that popped into my mind..."transmission." To my amazement the gate opened.

I drove inside the gate and handed the valet my keys. I could see all the people in the courtyard, so I said a quick prayer and started walking over there. I was captivated by the beauty of the scenery. I then scanned the crowd until I found the King. I finally spotted him and started walking towards him. As I was walking, people kept stopping me to chitchat or to offer me something to eat or drink.

When I finally broke free the King was gone. I decided to go to my guest room and pray.

"And the voices of those who stand looking"...

Later that evening I could hear voices in the hall. I opened up the door and saw three girls drinking and laughing. One of the girls said to me, "Hey, if you wanna get close to the King, then here"... as she slid a round suitcase towards me. I bent down and opened it. I found lingerie and erotic material inside and the girls began laughing at me.

I looked up and said, "Many women have made it into the heart of the King's bedroom, but very few have entered the heart of his bathroom." The laughter stopped as the girls looked at me dumbfounded. They had no idea what I meant by what I had just said. I slid the suitcase back over to them and walked into the kitchen.

The King's cupbearer was in the kitchen playing poker with a few friends. His girlfriend walked up to me, hugged me and handed me a glass of Chardonnay. We were talking and catching up when I overheard some girl yell... "What's she doing here?" She then started throwing accusations at me. "I'm sorry, you must have me mistaken for someone else?" I said.

The King's cupbearer stood up for me and told her to calm down but she was obviously drunk and hysterical. I turned around to walk out and she began screaming and cursing at me, "I know exactly who you are... you BLEEP-ing whore!" I turned around and rebuked her. All of the sudden she started throwing up. Everyone in the room was screaming and grossing out.

I felt sorry for her, so I walked over to her. I cleaned her up and then helped her over to the couch in the next room. She slurred her words, "I'm sorry... and then she mumbled... I know he chose you."  I didn't know who or what she was talking about? I just told her that I forgave her and to lay down and rest, until she felt better. I headed back into the kitchen, grabbed the mop and a bucket and cleaned up her mess. I then went back to the guest room.

I grabbed my Bible, laid down on the bed and began to cry out to God. I read the words of King David before going to sleep... "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

"Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings"...

The next morning I awoke to the sound of birds singing. I got up and opened the door to the bedroom, it was quiet and peaceful. I started walking around the Palace and I didn't see anyone. I figured everyone was still asleep, so I decided to head up the stairs, towards the King's room.

As I was walking up the stairs, I saw two female Angels sitting on the banister. I said, "I want to see the King... I just want to talk to him... how can I help him? Please tell me what I should do?"

Female Angel #1:  You need to serve him first, before you can help him.
Female Angel #2:  I can't tell you because it's going to hurt you.

Before I could respond, they had vanished... as feathers fell from the banister onto the stairs. Hurt me??? How could it possibly hurt me?... Serve him??? I have been serving him!"... I thought to myself. I kept walking up the stairs and they seemed to never end. It was like the stairs were expanding before my eyes, the further I would go up. What is going on???

I started asking God why the stairs were expanding and what the Angels meant by what they said?  That's when I saw a video flash on the wall, like someone had just pushed the play button to the movie about my life...

I SAW all that I would have to endure and all those that I would have to leave at the bottom of the staircase, if I continued climbing up. I stood there paralyzed on the steps and began to cry... "God, I don't know if I'm strong enough to go through all of that? Maybe it will be easier if I just go back down?"

I looked back down the stairs and by that time I was so high up that it frightened me! I froze for a few minutes and then I took one step backwards down the stairs. That's when I heard a voice, "Don't look down! You've come too far to go back now, come here... take my hand"...

I couldn't see his face but I grabbed ahold of his hand and started going back up the stairs. I asked him his name, but he disappeared before my eyes and I was left holding a feather in my hand. I held onto the feather and kept walking up the stairs.

I started becoming weak and my legs were shaking. I couldn't possibly make it up, one more step. I decided to rest for a bit, so I sat down on the stairs and laid my head down on the step.

"And a new day will dawn for those who stand long"...

Some time had passed and I heard the voices of the twins (Elvis and Jesse Presley aka Francis and Tobias), echoing in the stairwell. I wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not but I was hoping it was our Angels, coming up the stairs...

"Five-0, Five-0... Farfalla, what's up? hahaha Come on, wake up... you have to be ready by midnight."

I opened my eyes and saw the King's Angel Francis (Elvis), standing in front of me. "What time is it?" I said. "It's 8:00pm, come on, you have to get ready for the banquet." "I can't make it, I'm too weak... I can't climb any more stairs." "You don't realize how close you are... come here... I'll carry you the rest of the way." I stood up and jumped on his back, as he gave me a piggyback ride up the stairs.  My Angel Tobias (Jesse), was leading us and cracking jokes, along the way.

We finally made it to the top of the stairs and I hopped off of his back. We were standing in front of huge double doors that were closed. I could hear Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, blaring from the stereo inside. I yelled, "How do we get inside? He won't be able to hear us, if we knock." They both looked at me and walked right through the door, as feathers fell to the floor. I didn't know what to do??? I just dropped to my knees and began to pray...

"Lord, if I have found favor in the sight of the King, and if it pleases the King, may You grant my request?"...

Suddenly the doors opened up like an elevator. I looked up and walked inside. I couldn't believe it! I was inside the King's bathroom. I looked around and captured every single image... The decor, the tile, the crosses, etc. I then noticed that all of my personal belongings that I had left in the guest room, were in there. I don't know how it got there but I was amazed that I was even in there?!

I decided, I better get ready for the banquet and I jumped in the shower. So many different emotions were running through me. It was like butterflies on overdrive. haha I can't explain it, but it was a different kind of happiness?! This was JOY... like I had never, ever felt or experienced before.

I could still hear 'Stairway to Heaven' playing as I was in the shower...

"Dear Lady, can you hear the wind blow and did you know,
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind"...

When I got out of the the shower, the mirror was fogged but I could see the reflection of the TV, coming from the King's bedroom.  I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.  I couldn't believe I wasn't dreaming! I kept thanking God for sending me five Angels along the stairway, to guide me, to give me hope and to help me up the stairs.

I finished putting on my makeup, did my hair, put my dress on and glanced over at the clock. It was 11:51pm and I said out loud, "He knows the end... from the beginning!"

"With a word she can get what she came for"...

Sometimes the steps we take in life aren't always easy. Not everyone will be on our side and a lot of times, we will have to walk the steps alone. But, we are never really alone. God will never leave us. He will always send FEATHERS along the way to carry us, when we are weak.

It only takes ONE word of hope, one door to be opened, one opportunity, or one invitation... to change EVERYTHING! Just keep climbing up those steps and NEVER give up! Soon you will SEE, all of your DREAMS becoming reality. And you'll find that all along, you've been walking...

Step by step, in rhythm with Heaven!

JUBILEE ~ Purple Rose

I saw heaven in his eyes.

The Lord came to me saying, "Lisa Marie, what do you see?"

And I said, "I see a King in all his Splendor and Glory,

I see King David...
A shepherd boy
The one who slayed the giant
A victorious warrior
The chief musician
A Prophet
A poet
The writer of the Psalms
He was the apple of God's eye
The one who had the gift of music to cause the demons to flee
A man after God's own heart
An Anointed King

I see King Solomon...
A Prophet
The one who asked God for wisdom
The one that pleased God with his request
The one God blessed with wealth and wisdom
He was the wisest and wealthiest man who's ever lived
An Anointed King
The writer of the Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the one who wrote the most BEAUTIFUL love song ever written, the ‘Song of Songs’

I see Honor and Majesty, Lord
I see a Father and his son."

And the Lord came to me a second time saying, "What do you see?"

And I said, "I see the King of Rock and Roll,

I see Elvis Presley...
A loving son and father
A singer and a musician
The one who challenged social and racial barriers,
through his diverse musical influences
The one who ushered in a NEW era of American music and popular culture
A beautiful man with charisma and good humor
A man with reverence for Jesus
A man who honored our country
A man with a heart of gold
A humble servant of the King of Kings

I see...

I see a gun and roses

I see Precious stones

I see "Passion" and "Jubilee" written on a tablet

I see "Dove Love" and the number "717" written on a scroll

I see Angel wings and feathers

I see exquisite sheet music from Heaven

I see a Cross and a heart

I see a Scepter, a Robe, and a Signet ring

I see a white Seat high upon the throne

I see a sacred composition

I see all three Kings in him

I see a Purple Rose, Lord
I see its petals laced in gold."

Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."

Guns N' Roses ~ If the world

"if the world would end today
and all the dreams we had
would all just drift away
you know there's nothing more to say
if the world would end
and our love slipped away"...

"The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing has come
And the voice of the turtledove
IS heard in our land."
