For Such a Time...

"i've seen you here for the past year and a half"... x

The Prince will be Seventeen
Three days before Christmas
A Feast and Music Shall be Prepared
For the Day of Gladness in the Palace

He is the Crown of his Father
and Heart of his Mother
A Miracle that Became One
Through a Promise of Burning Desire

His Countenance is Lovely
His Hair Rich like Scarlet
His Eyes as Doves
Set upon Heaven

Lips of Rubies
A Captivating Voice
As Soft as the Wind
yet Strong like Thunder

His Tongue is a Flame of Fire
Burning off Strongholds
Healing our Pain
Refreshing us with Rain

He is Confident but Humble
Powerful yet Noble
Wealthy in Wisdom
Strength and Beauty

A Musical Genius
A Poet
and A Spiritual Leader
Created in the Likeness of his Father

An Answer to Prayer
Sent from God
Faith, Hope and Love
Intertwined and Kissed...

Somewhere in Time.

Have you Seen Him?

His Name is SETH

He is the Song in My Heart

A Future Memory

He IS the Offspring of The KING.

"Yet who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom,
for such a time as this?"

"Woman, behold your son."

A mother is not only one who gives birth, but one who has a heart of love for a child.

To all of the women around the world, those that were before us and for those yet to come...

May your day be filled with love and joy.

May you be honored today and always, for the hero that you are.

Happy Mother's Day!

"Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come."

Mariah Carey ~ Hero 'One night with the King'

so when you feel like hope is gone
look inside you and be strong
and you'll finally see the truth
that the hero lies in you

there's something mystical about your poems that make me really come back for more... i had to read it several times to make it a part of me... although a common figure would settle for Seth (i love the imagery)...the focus lies on the woman who gave birth... the real unnoticed hero... bellissima lisa :)...

The power of narrative. Well done. The red haired boy could have been a description of King David too. Fantasy, dreams... aching love. Mothers certainly may bring societies back to their senses by just being a good mom.

Very nice, again.

@jcmanuel AMEN!!! Thank you for the sweet compliment. Very observant of you on the King David description.

Not sure if you knew this or not, but the name SETH originated in the Bible. He was the THIRD son of Adam and Eve. The APPOINTED son after Cain killed Abel.

The SEED of Seth is the GOOD seed and his sons were followers of God. His lineage are PROPHETS, MUSICIANS, and SINGERS... this IS the line where King David and JESUS came from!!! ;)

This is such a unique and mysterious poem. It is about a son yes but more interestingly about the father and mother that created him into who he is. I'm not sure if this is your son or not but he does resemble you and is very striking. Names are very imperitive and that is why Jesus changed so many people's names thorought scripture. I also like the video you chose, I'll have to watch the movie now. Great write and very powerful. Thank you.

@Jim Awe, thank you for your kindness and sweet comment. I really appreciate it!!! ;)

@TerryAnn WOW! Thank you for this BEAUTIFUL comment and compliment. I agree with you about names, they are very symbolic in meaning. I also believe that Jesus changed their names, so they wouldn't identify with who they used to be... but who they are in Him. I hope you enjoy the movie. Thank you again!
